Window & Safety Films
Approximately 50 percent of a homes utility bills are wasted by loss of heat and heat gain through untreated glass.

Tint installed window film provides an efficient as well as economical solution to solar problems. The product is a high-tech laminate of polyester and metalized coatings bonded by distortion-free adhesives. It is designed to deal with the individual electromagnetic wavelengths of the suns energy in such a manner as to curb heat passing through the glass (infrared), control light transmission and virtually eliminate ultraviolet radiation, the main cause of fading.

The amount of energy savings achieved per household depends on the window film used, the buildings construction and the climate in which the building is located. For example, there are window films available that reject from 35 percent of the solar energy for a neutral film that is virtually impossible to detect to 79 percent for a highly reflective film. Films available today to serve residential needs for energy savings, aesthetics, privacy and security.

All films help reduce energy bills, increase occupant comfort and protect draperies, carpets, furnishings, hardwood floors and artwork from premature fading. Films can do this because they reject almost 100 percent of damaging ultraviolet and a significant amount of solar heat energy. In addition to excellent solar control properties, all films provide increased levels of safety because they help hold glass together in case of an accident or storm.

For solar control that’s virtually undetectable, select advanced Sterling films. They are manufactured using state-of-the-art metalizing technology to provide a level of solar rejection that meets or exceeds that of much darker reflective films. Yet their high visible light transmission makes them almost undetectable when installed.

Dual-reflective films are available in Slate Gray or Autumn Bronze to complement any interior decor or exterior aesthetics. These premium films offer the ultimate solar control with the unique feature of exceptionally low interior reflectivity at night.
